This PLT GPH287T5L4P germicidal tube lamp has a 4-pin single-ended base and operates at 14 watts. Preheated germicidal lamps are operated by a preheat start circuit that employs a relatively compact and economical ballast. Germicidal lamps are used to sterilize work spaces and tools used in biology laboratories and medical facilities.
