Update your home safety with Kidde's battery-operated smoke and carbon monoxide alarm. Particles found in air from slow, smoldering fires are detected by using a photoelectric sensor and dangerous levels of carbon monoxide are detected using an electrochemical sensor. This alarm meets UL217 standards including reduced nuisance alarm by distinguishing between real emergencies and everyday cooking smoke. The hush feature silences the smoke alarm, then resets if the air has cleared of the particles that triggered the alarm.

This device will blend in seamlessly on your walls or ceilings with the included twist-and-click mounting bracket. The tamper-resistant, sealed 10-year lithium battery powers the alarm and will initiate an end-of-life notification will beep when it is time to replace the unit.

A visual and audible LED indicator to confirms if the unit is operational or in alarm mode. The self-testing feature continuously checks the critical circuits for issues. Weekly manual testing is recommended with the test button that simulates smoke and CO conditions.
